New Serbian Postproduction Facility 247HUB Fully Booked with Projects

BELGRADE: The new premium postproduction facility 247HUB, which opened in Belgrade’s downtown at the end of 2020, is already fully booked with incoming international projects, as well as booming Serbian film and TV projects.

Senior colorists Miodrag Popović and Goran Todorić are among the company’s co-founders. They state that 247HUB leads projects from the initial idea to final delivery and their services extend beyond the studio lot in providing technical support for a variety of external processes including DIT.
The main feature of the 500 sq m facility is the colour grading theatre powered by BaseLight with a 4K Sony laser projector, Sony reference monitor, Stewart reference screen and Dolby 7.1. Another smaller grading suite is equally powered by FilmLight and Sony, connected to editing rooms, comfortable office space and VFX office. FilmLight Flux storage and rendering capacities are supported through Cisco network, up to 100GB/s, enabling high security and quick transfer of data. 247HUB is in the final assessment phase of getting a TPN certificate with a goal of becoming a reference post production facility for Southeast Europe.
As reported by Nemanja Stanojević from 247HUB, the outlet has an ambition to not only provide commercial services, but also develop the talent pool and work with young artists in achieving uncompromising technical results. Partnership with Filmlight and their experts will guide the establishment of training programmes for artists in colour grading, which will permanently empower Serbian production capacities.
Projects shooting on location in Serbia, such as the sequel to the US box office hit Don’t Breathe by Fede Alvarez, which is set to premiere in the summer of 2021 and has been serviced by the Belgrade-based Work in Progress, have already benefited from this extension of services offered on location leading to easier entry into postproduction.
